Victorian Villa
The lounge of this period property in Peebles was a blank canvas when our clients moved in. They knew the "feel" they wanted to create, and we assisted them in choosing the correct layout and colour combinations to achieve the relaxed, homely vibe that it has. They wanted the room to be modern, comfortable, colourful yet sympathetic to the era of the house. The curtains are the main feature of the room, just as the bay window is usually the feature of any Victorian room.

A Bay Window at Christmas
We have kept the bay window easily accessed by arranging the sofas this way. Perfect for the Christmas tree, but also allowing the spectacular view over the town to be enjoyed from wherever you sit in the room.

Bespoke Curtains
The client fell in love with this tumbled linen floral curtain fabric, which became the starting point of the colour scheme. We helped them to select the correct colour for the sofa, from another retailer.

Accessories
The lived in look was what we wanted to achieve. Lots of colourful cushions patterned and plain cushions have broken up the formality of the layout of the room. The textured neutral rug was added and layers underneath the sofas.
